Pupils have access to a number of digital learning resources to support their learning both in and out of school.  Links to these key resources can be found below.

HWB

All pupils in Wales, including pupils at Sageston CP School, have their own HWB accounts.  This gives them access to a range of online resources, including:

• Microsoft 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams, etc.)
• Minecraft for Education
• Google for Education
• just2easy (j2office, jit5, j2blast, j2data, j2code, etc.)
• Britannica Digital Learning

Lexia

Every pupil from Reception to Year 6 has access to Lexia.  As per Lexia's website, the Lexia Core 5 Reading is "an adaptive blended learning program that accelerates the development of literacy skills for students of all abilities, helping them make that critical shift from learning to read to reading to learn."

You can download the Lexia Core 5 app from the Apple App Store (only available to download on an iPad) or Google Play Store (for Android).  It is not available as an app on certain devices, including Kindle Fire devices.  

Spelling Shed

All pupils have access to the Spelling Shed website.  This website provides fun and engaging games to help support the development of pupils' spelling strategies and skills.
